PLEASE RESPECT GOD'S SACRED GROUND

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE IN USE ~ POLICE TAKE NOTICE ~ VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED

THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES/ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON CEMETERY GROUNDS  Alcohol, Cannabis, Illegal Drugs, or Smoking ~ Balloons, Banners, Celebrations, Flags, Parties or Picnics ~ Bicycles, Motorcycles, Scooters, Battery-Powered Vehicles ~ Running, Jogging, Skateboarding, or Other Recreational Activities ~ Firearms (Except at Military Funerals) ~ Food or Food Trucks ~ Garbage/Littering ~ Music (Church-Approved Music During Funerals Only) ~ Pets ~ Speeding (10mph Maximum) ~ Trespassing After Hours

CEMETERY DECORATIONS

DECORATIONS LIMITED TO ONE PER HEADSTONE

Flowers (Artificial or Fresh) in Permanent Professionally Installed Granite Headstone Vases

-Or-

Small Annuals (No Perennials) Planted Up To 1 Foot In Front of Upright Head-Stone or 1 Foot In Back of Flat Headstone not to Exceed Width of Headstone (No Mulching, Potted Plants Or Grave Outlining)

-Or-

Natural (Not Artificial) Evergreen Wreath on Easel or Stand), Max 30" Tall Overall

-Or-

Funeral Home Marker or Temporary Cross (18” Or Less) Displayed up to One Year After Burial (Counts as Decoration)

• All Non-Permitted Decorations (Including Temporary Headstones) Will Be Removed Throughout  the Year without notice
• Funeral Decorations will be Removed After 14 Days
• Veteran Flags And Medallions Allowed (Do Not Count as Decorations)
• Do Not Place Any Items Directly on or over Headstone, or Outline Graves.
• Please Trim Flowers so that Deceased’s Name(S), Birth/Death Dates are Visible
• No Decorations on Unmarked Graves

 CEMETERY HEADSTONE GUIDELINES

 CHURCH-APPROVED, INSTALLED NO LATER THAN ONE YEAR AFTER BURIAL

• Plots come with burial rights; the Diocese owns the land and sets the rules and regulations for plot holders.
• All plots must be paid in full before a foundation is laid for a headstone.
• No Funeral Home Markers or Temporary Crosses  can be displayed 1 year after the burial date has passed (replace with church-approved permanent granite headstone or bronze plaque)
• One Permanent Granite Headstone (Single/Double) or Bronze Plaque and Foundation is permitted  per grave.
• All headstone designs must be approved by the Cemetery Authority of St Joseph Church (Must Be Installed Within 1 Year Of Burial or Grave Will Be Considered Unmarked)
• Headstone Application Permit Fees Apply to the Headstone Approval Process

IMPORTANT: The Cemetery is not Liable For Damage To Monuments or Injuries to Anyone Visiting the Cemetery. All Non-Permitted Decorations (Including Temporary Headstones) Will Be Removed Throughout  the Year; Spring/Fall Cleanups Occur April 15/Nov 15. Rules Are Available at Stands in Cemetery, Church Ministry Center or Call 815-943-6406.

• POR FAVOR MANTENGA LAS FLORES PODADAS PARA QUE EL (LOS) NOMBRE(S) Y FECHAS DE NACIMIENTO Y MUERTE DE LOS FALLECIDOS SEAN VISIBLES
• NO SE PERMITEN DECORACIONES O ADORNOS EN TUMBAS SIN NOMBRE

• NO SE PERMITEN CRUCES TEMPORALES O RÓTULOS PROPORCIONADOS POR LAS AGENCIAS FUNERARIAS DESPUÉS DE UN AÑO DEL ENTIERRO
• SOLO SE PERMITE UNA LÁPIDA PERMANENTE DE GRANITO O UNA PLACA DE BRONCE Y SU BASE POR TUMBA, APROBADA POR LA AUTORIDAD DEL CEMENTERIO DE LA IGLESIA SAN JOSÉ (DEBE INSTALARSE EN UN PERIODO DE UN AÑO A PARTIR DEL ENTIERRO, O LA TUMBA SERÁ CONSIDERADA COMO SIN NOMBRE)

El cementerio no se hace responsable de los daños a los monumentos ni de las lesiones que sufra cualquier persona que visite el cementerio.

IMPORTANTE: TODAS LAS DECORACIONES NO PERMITIDAS (INCLUYENDO LAS LÁPIDAS TEMPORALES) SERÁN RETIRADAS DURANTE SIN PREVIO AVISO; LAS LIMPIEZAS DE PRIMAVERA/OTOÑO SE REALIZAN EL 15 DE ABRIL/15 DE NOVIEMBRE.
